We were incredibly proud to sponsor the Woodstock Homes Multiple Sclerosis Garden at the RHS Badminton Flower Show, where it was awarded a Silver Medal in the Pocket Planting category.
Created by Michael Leach and Gavin Moth, the garden was designed around a powerful message: although the diagnosis may be shared, everyone’s experience of MS is different.
The garden also attracted fantastic media coverage throughout the week, including features on BBC Radio Bristol, BBC Somerset and BBC Points West, helping to raise valuable awareness of MS and the important work of The Brightwell.
Following the show, the garden has now been carefully relocated to its permanent home at The Brightwell in Bristol, where it will be enjoyed by members, families and visitors for many years to come.
The garden has been dedicated to the memory of Karen Hutchinson, mother of our Managing Director, James Hutchinson, who lived with MS and sadly passed away in 2021.
A huge thank you to Michael, Gavin and everyone at The Brightwell, including the many volunteers who brought the garden to life, both at Badminton and in its new home. We are delighted to have supported a project that has raised awareness of MS while creating such a meaningful and lasting legacy.
