Woodstock Homes was born! In 1996 our Founder, Martin Newman, started our first development in Winterbourne, Bristol.
First Development 10+ homes
2004
We started our first development of 10+ homes at our Cotswold Court project in Bedminster, Bristol.
Our First Office
2005
Our first office was opened at 10 Apsley Road, Clifton.
100 Homes Built
2005
We sold our 100th property at our Inkerman Villas development in Wells.
Office Expansion
2011
We moved office to Suite 1, Westbury Court, Church Road, Westbury on Trym, followed by another move to Suite 2.
Completed 44 apartments
2016
We completed our first development of 40+ apartments at Beacon Tower in Fishponds, Bristol.
500 Homes Built
2017
We sold our 500th home at our Portishead development.
Company Rebrand
2021
In 2021 we decided to rebrand and modernise the business including new logo, signage and website.
Office Move
2022
We moved to a larger office at Suite 5B, Westbury Court, Church Road, Westbury on Trym to facilitate our continued growth.

Our development of 29 homes at Charlton Road, Brentry marked the launch of Woodstock Partnerships where we deliver affordable homes for those that most need them on behalf of Housing Association partners.

Martin Newman
Our Roots
Martin started his career working for Rolls Royce after graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. However, Martin started to realise he had developed a passion for refurbishing properties, starting with his own. Woodstock Homes have built and sold over 500 properties in the last 10 years. Martin and his team have a deep understanding of building residential properties which have customers requirements at the forefront of the business ethos.
Martin is dedicated to constructing properties with thoughtful design and high specifications as standard, always trying to envision himself living in the properties he builds. He maintains a very 'hands-on approach' to the everyday running of the business, which has ensured his ethos flows through all of the teams within Woodstock homes which has allowed us to maintain the same quality of new homes through the years.
Martin believes, ‘Customer satisfaction with the buyer’s journey when purchasing a Woodstock Home is as important as the actual building of the home’. He is always focused on making the buying experience as easy and smooth as possible to ensure this is a reality for our buyers.
